Summery

Madhura Sreedhar’s youthful romantic entertainer Back Bench Student movie gearing up ready for hit the screens world wide on 15 March. Producer planning to movie world wide release in more than 200 theaters.Director Madhura Sreedhar says “we are planning to release premier shows a day ahead in major cities like Hyderabad, Vizag, Warangal, and Vijayawada and The premier collection of the movie amount donates selected merit engineering students”.
Mahat Raghavendra, Pia Bajpai and Archana Kavi playing the lead roles in the movie. Movie produced by M.V.K Reddy and music composed by Sunil Kashyap. Sibhu has sung one of the remix song ‘Jagada Jagada’ in this movie, it is the one of the highlight of this movie.

Story

The story of ‘Backbench Student’ revolves around Karthik (Mahat Raghavendra), Priyanka (Archana Kavi) and Chaitra (Pia Bajpayee).The movie deals with an Engineering student Mahat Raghavendra who has 16 backlogs in B Tech and is a back bencher. He loves a girl but she leaves him and flies to foreign. In the meantime, he likes another girl. But the story has a twist as his first love returns and comes back to his life. What happens next should be seen on screen.

Performance

Mahat Raghavenda on debut put up spirited performance. He exceled in dances and his expressions are fine. Archana Kavi looked good but did not have scope for performance. Piya Bajpai got good role and she even looked beautiful. Ali and Brahmandam entertained movie lovers with their comedy tracks. Other cast like Sarath Babu,Banerjee, Pragati did their roles accordingly.

Technical Aspects

Madhura Sreedhar failed to make any impact on viewers with his script or storyline. He failed as director and screenplay tested the patience of the people. Performance of the lead pair is the big letdown in the film.
The music of Back Bench Student, composed by Sunil Kashyap, is good. Especially Jagada Jagada song picturization deserves a special mention. The background music is loud. Rerecording is dreadful. Prasad G.K.’s camera work is mediocre. Editing (Dharmendra Kakarala) of the film is not sharp. Dialogues are very boring except for a few occasional lines like “veedu chaduvu raka kadu Chaduvu koka fail ayyadu…”

Story

Shivaji (Sai Kumar) is a rich business man and he has a daughter Shailaja (Nitya Menon).On a vacation Shailaja goes to Visakhapatnam to stay few days at a resort owned by Sreenu (Naga Babu).She come across Surya (Nara Rohit) and falls in love with him and his family.Shailaja reveals her love matter to her father Shivaji and approves their love.Now Shailaja comes to know about the other side of Surya.The relation between Shivaji and Surya ? the revenge drama ? the other shade of shivaji frames the rest of the story.

Technical Performances

  • Cinematography is good

Verdict

Okkadine is a revenge story which is badly executed with a poor screenplay.Nara Rohith and Nitya Menon have reduced the damage limitation.Once watchable for Nara Rohith and Nitya Menon performances.

Story

Mike (Vijay Sethupathi) is a pizza delivery boy.He has a girl friend Anu (Remya Nambeesan) and leads a happy life with her.Anu has deep intrest in ghost novels and things become complicated when anu becomes pregnant.Mike now comes across Nitya daughter of his boss who is influenced by evil spirits.Mike goes to deliver pizza which turns his fate.The things seen by mike in the bungalow and how he comes out of his situation and how he overcomes those issues frames the rest of the story.

Story:

Story opens in Italy with Jai(Prabhas) who believes that love can change any thing in life .Jai comes across Manasa (richa) and they turns into love later.Jai gets to know about the family background of manasa which leads him to Macherla district of Palnadu district.Manasa family is headed by Nagineedu,sampath,subbaraj.Prabhas with his tricks and schemes wins manasa family hearts.Now the plot entirely changes when jai was ready to be accepted as son in law by manasa family jai reveals his flashback and relation with Vennela (Anushka) who belongs to rivalry group of Manasa Family.what is the relation between jai and vennela ? what is the rivalry between their families ? Jai’s past ? how the triangle love story ends ?? frames the rest story.

Technical Performances:

  • Editing could have been better
  • Music and BGM by DSP is heart for the movie
  • Cinematography is not upto mark
  • Koratala Shiva came up with decent script and Screenplay.

  • Prabhas Performance and his Decent look is main plus point.Variation shown by prabhas in decent,mass character is major asset.

Verdict: The classic of recent times

Plot: 

Apart from the commercial movies and action entertainers, Family entertainers play important role in Tollywood. They easily connect to the heart of the audience. Audience will definitely love them if human values are etched in proper manner. If such movies arrives in multistarrer format it would definitely be a great feast to us. SVSC belongs to such genre. The movie finally entered into the box-office war with high range of expectations entertaining both Venkatesh and Maheshbabu fans. So, let us jump into the review of the movie.

Story:

A small family from village Relangi which was headed by Prakashraj who was fondly called as Relangi Mavayya by his family members. His two sons Peddhodu (Venkatesh) and Chinnodu (Mahesh) had a great bonding with each other. Peddhodu is a stingy guy who behaves stubborn in his acts and believes he is right all the time. Where as Chinnodu is  a smart and blend guy who can easily associate  with every one.

Seetha (Anjali) is the wife of Peddhodu where as Geetha (Samantha) is the lady love of Chinnodu.   As soon as these brothers succeeds in making arrangements for their sister’s marriage, small misfortune occurs which break the relation between them. How these brothers gets united is the rest of the story.

Analysis:

First of all hats off to Srikanth Addala for this brave attempt. His selection of characters and sketching their characterizations in an effective manner is should be appreciated. Dil Raju who stood as the backbone for this movie had his own importance too.
SVSC is a sensible heart touching movie it is neither for Mahesh fans nor Venkatesh fans, it is the movie for human who loves their family. After watching this movie every person feel proud to have a brother as they identify themselves with their family in this movie.
The first half of the movie is really a worth watching flick. Every character which enters on screen looks like they were seen in the real life. Song were great to ears with light music.
Second Half of the movie is bit slower in narration when compared to first half. But fact is that it is a hard task for every director to run a family entertainer with such timing.
Screenplay, story and narration are completely clean and neat.No sort of domination of the heroes in the movie was seen. Kudos to the director in managing such giant stars equally and normally.

Performances:
Venkatesh is extraordinary. There is a saying “If he makes us laugh the movie runs for 50 days, if he makes us cry the movie runs for 100 days“. No doubt, Venkatesh is fantastic all the time as he is expert in knowing audience pulse.
Maheshbabu had came up with another class performance after Athadu. His one liners and expressions are superb. No doubt, timing in dialogues is his main assert. He is romantic and handsome too.

Anjali finally filled the empty space which was left by Soundarya. As known earlier she is a telugu lady, she was brilliant in playing a innocent house wife character.
Cute Samantha is gorgeous and beautiful. Her cute expressions and chemistry with Maheshbabu is good.
Prakashraj and Jayasudha are awesome. They are indeed the main highlight of the movie. They proved that they are the HIT pair as parents.All the other characters like Rao Ramesh, Murali Mohan were best upto their part. They justified the roles.

-Negative Points:

Little bit slow narration in second half.

Conclusion:

SVSC is a must watched movie. Go and watch it with your family, you come out with a strange experience. Better keep it away if you want high voltage heroism and comedy. It is just a simple movie to analyse ourself about human relations.

Editors Word:

As we hear about Gundamma Katha as the classic movie of yester generations. SVSC will definitely be a human values dictionary for next generations.
