A HIT COMBO!
Fox Star and A R Murugadoss are back after their successful collaboration in Engaeyum Eppothum. This film, says Murugadoss, will appeal to all sections of the audience. “It’s an action thriller that will focus on the life of a share auto driver and the lives of the people who use it,” he states.

MUSIC TO THE EARS
The tunes from the film, whether it is the catchy Kuru Kuru… that has already become the anthem of the youth, or the quirky Amma Wake me up…, have already struck a chord. Composer Ghibran, who earlier worked on Vaagai Sooda Vaa, says, “The tracks are totally different from my debut film. It was fun working on the tunes.”

A CUTE ROMANCE
The lead pair, Deliban and Anjali, share an interesting chemistry throughout the film as the teasers and songs reveal. Anjali, who plays Meena in the film, changes her name to Leena to appear stylish. “The film has a beautiful love story and my character was such that it gave me scope to exhibit my acting prowess,” she says.

DIAL A FOR ACTION
Deliban, who is working hard to emerge as an action hero, had not only toned his body but also worked with award-winning action director Rajasekhar for some gritty action sequences. “I also underwent rigorous training to improve my acting skills and spent a lot of time with share auto drivers to understand the character better,” states Deliban.

AN INTERESTING STORYLINE
The film takes place in Chennai, where crime happens every day. “We don’t pay much attention to them as it doesn’t affect us,” says director Kinslin, “The film will tackle a subject where a character gets caught in between some interesting developments.” Vathikuchi from Fox Star Studios and A R Murugadoss Productions and produced by A R Murugadoss releases today.

Actress Nazriya Nazim has started the shoot for the Tamil film, Naiyandi, in which she has been cast opposite Dhanush. She says, “I could shoot only for two days as my class 12 exams are going on. I will be joining the set in April for the rest of the shoot.” Most of her projects are currently on hold owing to her exams, says the actress. She adds, “As soon as my exams are over, I will start shooting for my pending projects.”

Nazriya’s next release will be the bilingual Neram, in which she shares screenspace with her Yuvvh co-star Nivin Pauly. “Talks are on for a handful of Malayalam projects as well, one of which is really interesting. But I can’t reveal more details about it now,” she signs off.

Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga is scheduled to release on March 29th. The team has postponed the release due to the exam season and they decided to release this comedy entertainer as summer feast.

This movie will be featuring Vimal and Sivakarthikeyan in lead roles. Bindu Madhavi and Regina Cassandra plays the heroines in the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the soundtrack.

Karthi’s next flick Biriyani is shaping under Venkat Prabhu’s direction. The next schedule of Biriyani will start from March 31 in Hyderabad and will continue till mid April.

Hansika is playing the female lead and Santhanam, Premji will be seen in a prominent roles. Karthi is busy switching the shoots schedules of Biriyani and All in All Azhagu Raja.

Biriyani will have tunes composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Sakthi Saravanan’s cinematography. K.E.Gnanvel Raja is producing this film under Studio green productions.

March 15 will give some tough competition for A.R.Murugadoss’s Vatthikuchi and director Bala’s Paradesi. Both movies are ready to hit the screens on March 15 today along with few other movies like Karumpuli and Garuda Parvai.

Vatthikuchi is a crime thriller produced by ace director A.R.Murugadoss. Debutant director Kinslin wielded the megaphone and Dhileepan, brother of A.R.Murugadoss is making his debut. Anjali will be playing the female lead and Ghibran composed the tunes for this flick.

After many delays Bala’s Paradesi is ready to hit the screens on March 15 today. Paradesi story was based on real life incidents that took place before independence in the 1930’s and is inspired from the novel Red Tea, written by Paul Harris Daniel. Adharvaa, Vedhika and Dhansika will be seen in the lead roles and G.V.Prakash composed the tunes for this film.

Karumpuli is the story based on terrorism directed by Parameshwar. Mahesh Raja, Prachi and Varsha are playing the main leads.

Kiruthika, wife of producer-turned-actor Udhayanidhi Stalin makes her debut directorial with an untitled film that is produced by Red Gian Movies. The film starring Shiva and Priya Anand in lead roles had its shooting commenced before a month. Udhayanidhi Stalin has mentioned on his micro-blogging page that the first look of this movie will be unveiled by the end of this March. The film has musical score by Anirudh, who is now flying with successful chords in the industry.

His debut film ‘Kadal’ might have not fetched an intense acclaims in the box office, but the young lad’s performance was lauded. Gautham Karthik is high on praises for his handsome and innocent looks that goes with an extraordinary performance. Now, the actor has been signed by GV Srinath Raju under the banner of SS Creations for their next film that will be directed by Silambattam fame Saravanan. The makers are in the pursuit of a heroine and will make official confirmations shortly.

While Ajith Kumar is busy now shooting for his next film ‘Valai’ directed by Vishnuvardhan, he will kick-start his next untitled from April. The film is directed by ‘Siruthai’ fame Siva and will be completed different from Ajith Kumar’s style of movies.
 
The film stars Tamanah opposite Ajith Kumar in female lead role while Santhanam takes care of humour quotients. Viddarth, Bala and many others will be seen in important roles with Vishaka of ‘Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya’ fame pairing with Viddarth. According to the sources, the film will go on floors from April.

Director SP Jananathan, who last made the action entertainer Peranmai with Jayam Ravi, had announced a multi-starrer. The film was to star Jayam Ravi and Jiiva.

The buzz is that Jananathan is all set to start this multi-starrer sometime in March after Ravi and Jiiva completes their current assignments.

Sources close to SP Jananathan has said that the film is likely to be titled aggressively as Thooku Thandanai . The film which will start rolling shortly is said to be an action packed entertainer.

Looks like Samantha, the bubbly NEP heroine who had won many hearts in south with her performance, is now set to return to the city for a short break from her Telugu movies.

And what better easy to spend a short holiday than to indulge on a new hobby? Well Samantha seems to have found what she’s looking for and had decided to unwind by learning to cook.

She had tweeted that she is no good at cooking but will try getting different people to taste her dishes to get a feedback. Says Samantha, ‘Learning to cook… If there is something I can truly suck at… It has to be cooking.. But that’s what am gonna do with these holidays.’

She adds, ‘I really pity the tasting committee… Aahhh they ll get over it… If they don’t I’ ll just get a new helpless set of tasters..Wink.’

Vijay had sung the ‘Google, Google’ number in Thuppakki , which went on to become a hit.Now it looks like he is going to sing in all his forthcoming films, including AL Vijay directed film.

GV Prakash, the music director of the film has made Vijay sing again in the Vijay directed film. GV Prakash has tweeted, ‘Just finished Ilayathalabathi’s song final for shoot ! ‘ Song will have ilayathalabathys vijays voice and santhanam has also sung along in it.’

Now that should be an interesting combination, Vijay and Santhanam will be definetly singing a mass number.
